Combined with the highly efficient SMA inverters, the Cluster Controller is the central communication unit for system monitoring, recording data and controlling large-scale PV plants. Through a variety of analog and digital in- and outputs, as well as fast data exchange via an Ethernet-based data interface (e.g., Modbus TCP), a wide range of applications can be realized, from feed-in management to sensor technology integration. Users benefit from easy system configuration that is achieved with the integrated web server. In addition, there are infinite options for visualizing yields via the Sunny Portal connection. Alongside the standard solution for large-scale commercial PV plants equipped with up to 75 devices, SMA now also offers a version for small-scale commercial PV systems with up to 25 inverters.

The controllers Steca Solsum F 6.6F, 8.8F, 10.10F are usually used for domestic photovoltaic systems. With a power range up to 10A at automatically recognized 12V or 24V, they fit to system sizes of maximum 240W. They work on PWM as low-loss series controllers. The units have voltage regulation and automatic detection of voltage, battery overvoltage shutdown and night light function pre-set in the factory or adjustable via Steca PA RC100. The controllers have multistage charging technology, automatic load reconnection, as well as large terminals that allow easy connection of PV module, load and battery.

The new controller Steca Solarix PRS features modern design, high performance, convenient display and an extremely attractive price. Multicoloured LEDs provide information on the battery’s state of charge. Here, Steca’s latest algorithms are employed, resulting in optimal battery maintenance. The Solarix PRS charge controllers are equipped with an electronic fuse, thus making optimal protection possible. They operate on the serial principle and separate the solar module from the battery in order to protect it against overcharging. With the help of Steca PA RC 100, the “night light” function could be activated.

The new design of Steca Tarom sets new standards in its power class. A graphic display informs the user about all important system data and enables configuration and adjustment of the controller to the specific requirements of the individual system. Thanks to the significantly improved state of charge determination, the system is optimally controlled and the batteries are protected. The Steca Tarom charge controller is the best choice for system sizes of up to 2400Wp at three voltage levels – 12V, 24V, 48V. The integrated data logger stores all important system data which can be read via an open Steca RS232 interface. As an option, the controller can be connected and an external temperature sensor. Two additional switching contacts can be freely configured as a timer, a night light function, to start generators or as surplus management.

The batteries SunLight VRLA SPb are suitable for uninterruptible power supply systems (UPS), for telecom systems and for industrial equipment. They have a capacity of 33-200Αh and voltage 6-12V, with AGM technology. They are designed for long life from 10 to 12 years at 20οC and require no maintenance. The batteries are safe to work with (adequate ventilation is required according to ΕΝ 50272). The sealed construction of the battery allows perfect operation in any vertical or horizontal position. The batteries comply with the following standards: IEC 60896-21 and 22 and BS 6290-4.
The SunLight OPzV batteries are with fixed electrolyte in gel and are characterized by their long life, increased durability under cyclic use conditions, as well as by their minimum maintenance requirements which make them a cost-effective energy solution. They have optimum high-quality design and long life (18 years at 20°C). The batteries are equipped with a specially designed insulation coating and calibrated plastic boxes SAN (styrene acrylonitrile). Their cells capacity is from 200Ah to 3000Ah.
